Registering your Mustang is Simple

Steps to Register:

1: Complete the registration form below. – Fill out the form as completely as possible. Incomplete forms may delay or prohibit processing of registration.

2: Select the Type of Registration –

Choose whether your horse qualifies for Temporary or Sealed registration.

Temporary Registration ($45):

Available for mustangs not yet titled.
Valid for one calendar year from registration date.
Allows your horse to begin competing and earning points.
Points earned will transfer once the horse is titled and has a sealed registration.

Sealed Registration ($90):

Available only for titled mustangs (ownership fully transferred from BLM or other agency to adopter).
Permanent registration—valid for the lifetime of the horse under the owner of record.
Allows full eligibility for lifetime point tracking, awards, and recognition.

3: Opt in/out of Wild to Winning ($100).

Wild to Winning is an an elite incentive program where you can bet up front on your newly registered mustang. When you nominate your horse for W2W you will be eligible to win incentive or cash awards should your horse do well in IMHA events. W2W nomination is only available at the time of initial registration and will follow the horse for life.

: Submit Payment – Pay the applicable registration fee ($45 temporary, $90 sealed )

on the $100 "Wild to Winning." nomination if you desire)

We will review your application. Once approved, you will receive a unique IMHA certificate of registration including a unique registration number. This number is required for participation in all IMHA-approved events and for your horse to accumulate points and awards.

Be aware that registrations for any other horses are not allowed at this moment.

You can apply for a temporary registration by filling in guest above however an IMHA membership is required for a sealed (permanent) registration.

Sealed registrations are for titled horses only. If you have a horse under "Adoption Status" that has not been titled you are still able to show and earn points in IMHA by competing under a temporary registration. A temporary registration is good for one year. At the end of the year you must apply for a title. Once your horses is titled you can file for a sealed (Permanent IMHA registration.)

Wild to Winning

Wild to Winning Incentive$100

The Wild to Winning Incentive is an elite IMHA nomination. For a one-time fee of $100, horses are entered into this program that offers additional prizes or earnings at IMHA shows. A Wild to Winning nomination is exclusive.

Horses can only be entered at the time of registration.

There are no retroactive nominations.
